There will be a $30 fee for all NSF checks.

Most service parts will have a 90 day warranty. Software related problems have no warranty.

When you purchase memory from us and we do the installation, we will warrant the memory for life. If we do not install the memory, there is no warranty.

Carry in Repairs

Carry in repairs are handled on a first come first served basis. Service rates for carry in repairs are $115 per hour, plus parts. If the product that you bring in for service was purchased from us, you will recieve a $25 per hour discount on labor.

If your Apple product is still within the warranty period, we will repair it under the terms of your Apple warranty.

All equipment will be assessed a diagnostic fee. This means that we will diagnose the problem but not necessarily be able to repair your equipment in the time it takes to do the diagnostics. At this time we will notify you with a repair estimate and give you the option of repairing or not.

All customers that have not established terms with us are required to pay when they pick up their equipment. Service on older equipment will be subject to pre-payment. Equipment must be picked up within 21 days of being notified that the work is complete. Any equipment not picked up within 45 days becomes the property of MacMan, Inc. in exchange for the accumulated charges.

On-Site Service

On-site service is scheduled on a first come first served basis after all contract customer requests have been fulfilled. Rates for non-contract on-site services are $125 per hour with a one hour minimum. If you purchased equipment from us, you will recieve a $25 per hour discount on labor.
There is a $35 on-site travel charge for service within Eau Claire and Altoona. Out side of this area, the travel rate is $75 per hour round trip. The customer must pay all charges in full according to the terms that have been granted by MacMan, Inc. There will be a finance charge of 1.5% for late payments.

Warranty Options

If your Apple equipment falls within the warranty guidelines, your options are to bring it in or have a technician come to you. If you are located beyond a 60 mile radius, there may be an additional travel charge, otherwise it will be covered under warranty. We will service your equipment according to the terms and guidelines of Apple's limited warranty. If the equipment is diagnosed as "No Problem Found", or if the problem is diagnosed as being a software issue, there will be a diagnostic fee and there also may be a travel and labor charge.

Expedited Service

Occasionally, you may require a repair to be done sooner than our normal turnaround time allows. In these situations, if possible, we can offer an expedite option. Because this interrupts our repair flow, there is a higher service rate. The expedited service rate is 1.5 times our normal service rate. Based on the time of day, type of service, and need for parts, expedited service may not mean that your repair will be done the same day.

Post Repair Issues

We do not have control of what the customer does once they get equipment back. If there is an issue once you get your equipment back, call us immediately. Any issue not brought to our attention within two days, will be considered a new and different issue. If there is an issue directly related to the reason the equipment was brought in, we will look at it again at our expense. This does not mean if you brought your computer in to have additional memory installed and now your printer doesn't work, we will fix that at our expense. This would be considered a new issue.

Consulting Terms

Because the industry is changing at such a fast pace and it is not always easy for you to know exactly what you need, we offer a consulting service. Consulting is billed at $125 per hour. There is a $35 on-site charge for consulting within Eau Claire and Altoona. Out side of this area, the travel rate is $75 per hour round trip. After consulting with you, we will come up with a recommended solution. If you buy the solution, from us, within 30 days, we will credit 1/2 of yor consulting toward your purchase. (Consulting only, no travel charges if applicable.)

Sales Terms

When placing an order for equipment, there may be a deposit required. When placing an order for more than $100, a 50% deposit is required, or if otherwise noted, of which 5% or a minimum of $50 is nonrefundable. The balance is due at the time of pickup or if you have established terms.

Prices and availability may change at any time due to industry price changes and costs to MacMan, Inc. If there is a significant change, MacMan, Inc. will notify you before any order is placed. All sales are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. If the product, or one of equal or greater value can not be ordered and received by MacMan, Inc., the price of that particular item, or the deposit paid for that item, will be refunded in full.

No returns, unless authorized by the manufacturer. If authorized, there will be a restocking fee of 20%. If you cancel your order after we have received a signed order or your PO, there will be a 20% restocking fee if we have already placed the order with our distributors.

Post Sales Support Options

Because the industry is changing at such a fast pace, it is a full time job to keep up. New products will come with many questions. This is why when purchasing new products, we recommend purchasing time for us to do the setup and installation. While setting up and configuring your new equipment, we hope to avoid certain headaches for you. You may want to consider purchasing training and support time. We do offer service retainers at discounted rates.

One of the best support options is to call the manufacturer of your new product. Normally, each will have "Free" post sales support for a certain time after you have registered your product. Apple offers 90 days free support, after that, they charge $49 per incident.
